About the Role

We're hiring a video-first, paid ads–focused Part-Time Social Media / Digital Marketer to support a range of marketing initiatives including promotions, events, fundraising activities, and digital campaigns.

The core of this role is editing short-form video content and running paid advertising campaigns (Meta required; TikTok/YouTube a bonus). Social-media posting is only occasional — this is not a page-management or content-calendar role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce short-form videos (15–30 sec clips, reels, shorts) using raw footage.
  • Set up, launch, and optimise paid ads across Meta (required), plus TikTok/YouTube if experienced.
  • Build lead-generation forms and campaign assets as needed.
  • Create supporting graphics/visuals in Canva.
  • Produce content for social posts when required (light posting only).
  • Support promotions, events, community activities, and multi-purpose marketing tasks.
  • Provide basic performance reporting and optimisation recommendations.

Must-Have Experience

  • 2–3+ years in digital marketing, content production, or paid ads.
  • Strong video editing experience (reels, shorts, ad creatives).
  • Proven ability to run and optimise paid campaigns, particularly on Meta.
  • Competent using Canva for marketing materials.
  • Experience supporting multi-initiative campaigns (events, promotions, etc.).
  • Good written/spoken English for client communication.
  • Portfolio showing video work and paid ad creatives.

Important:

This role is not suitable for general social media managers or Canva-only content creators. Applicants must have hands-on video editing AND paid ads experience.

  • SEO knowledge or experience
  • Familiarity with reporting dashboards or analytics tools.
