The Quickbooks Online (QBO) Specialist will assist in the migration of PEAC's accounting records to QBO. The position involves data preparation, encoding, validation, and documentation in coordination with the external QBO provider and the Finance Unit. The role ensures that all data required for the migration are accurate, complete, and properly organized for upload and configuration into QBO.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Preparation and Compilation

· Gather and consolidate accounting data from existing ledgers, spreadsheets, and reports.

· Prepare templates required by the external QBO provider.

· Ensure data consistency, proper coding, and accuracy before submission.

2. Data Encoding and Validation

· Encode accounting information into the QBO migration templates.

· Assist in encoding transactions following approved timelines.

· Validate encoded data against the existing trial balance and subsidiary ledgers.

· Tag expenses, revenues, and other accounts per unit, activity, region, and school year.

3. Coordination and Documentation

· Coordinate with the external QBO provider for clarifications, schedule updates, and data requirements.

· Maintain organized digital files of source documents, templates, and reports.

· Update migration progress tracker and submit daily/weekly status reports to the Finance Unit Head.

· Assist in testing and verifying migrated data in the QBO environment.

4. Post-Migration Support

· Reconcile beginning trial balances and reports.

· Assist the Finance Unit in familiarizing themselves with QBO data structures.

· Document workflow processes and issues encountered during migration.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or any related course.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting systems, or data management.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for liaising with internal and external teams.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php25,000.00 per month
