Responsibilities
The
Technical Sales Specialist
is responsible in driving the growth for the company's marine product line, with a focus on watermaker systems tailored for fishing vessels. This role combines technical proficiency with strong sales capabilities to identify client needs, provide customized solutions, and build long-term customer relationships.
By understanding the unique operational challenges of fishing vessels—including limited space, high water demand, and harsh marine conditions—the Technical Sales Specialist positions the company's watermaker systems as essential onboard solutions that enhance operational efficiency, crew welfare, and regulatory compliance. This position also supports the expansion of the company's market presence within the commercial fishing industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Marine, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field preferred).
Solid understanding of water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis (RO), filtration, and freshwater generation.
3–7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in water treatment or generator systems.
Proven ability in solution selling of complex technical systems.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel for client visits, site inspections, and installation support.
Able to translate technical features into customer value propositions.
