Job Description:

1. Customer Interaction:

Greet and monitor customers as they enter and exit the store to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.

Politely check customer bags or packages at the entrance/exit when necessary, in accordance with store policies.

2. Delivery Assistance:

Assist with unloading and loading stock deliveries, ensuring items are handled safely and securely.

Help verify delivery contents against inventory lists and report any discrepancies or damages.

3. Store Monitoring:

Maintain a visible presence at the store entrance to deter theft and identify any suspicious behavior.

Stay observant of store activity and report potential risks or incidents to the store manager.

4. Operational Support:

Assist with basic store tasks such as counting inventory, organizing racks, and hanging clothes as needed.

Keep the entrance area clean and tidy, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.

5. Incident Management:

Document and report any theft, safety hazards, or disturbances promptly to store management.

Respond calmly and efficiently during emergencies, following store protocols.

6. Collaboration:

Work closely with the store team to address security and operational needs during busy hours or special events.

Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on store policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Physically fit to perform duties such as standing for long hours, unloading deliveries, and handling inventory.
  • Trustworthy and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Highly observant with keen attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
  • Prior experience in retail, customer service, or store operations is an advantage but not required.
  • Proactive and capable of handling unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
