Security Operations Lead

Location: Makati City

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Operations Lead to manage and oversee the organization's cybersecurity operations. This role will lead both Red and Blue Teams, drive SOC initiatives, and ensure proactive detection and incident response across on-premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance technical depth with strategic oversight, ensuring a strong and resilient cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) functions, including Red and Blue Teams
  • Oversee incident detection, response, and forensics investigations
  • Develop and implement SOC procedures and monitoring strategies for on-prem and cloud environments
  • Ensure the timely mitigation of security incidents and continuous improvement of detection capabilities
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to strengthen cybersecurity practices across the organization
  • Monitor and report security performance metrics, incidents, and remediation efforts

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat management
  • Proven experience in SOC leadership and team management
  • Expertise in incident response, forensics, and threat intelligence
  • Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and cloud security tools
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
