AT A GLANCE (OVERVIEW)

The Product Designer will help the Product Development Team for all existing & upcoming face categories through superior skill in product design, project management, & with a keen understanding of the brand & market's needs.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Product Design & Development

  • Assist in planning quarterly developments that are aligned with the business and/or brand objectives.
  • Conceptualize a full line up of products consisting of existing & new styles.
  • Develop a strong portfolio of profitable products that broaden the existing offerings, while penetrating new markets.
  • Research & lead innovation in development by working with the rest of the brand team & suppliers.
  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to promote products and build brand awareness.
  • Creating visually appealing product designs that can be used in PR materials such as press releases, brochures, and media kits.
  • Police the quality of products that suppliers turn over.
  • Support the team of technical designers to ensure productivity, good quality of work & accurate designs.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Directly accountable to the L1 of the Brand Management Division for delivering on Product Design objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Visionary to provide expert insights and consultation, contributing to the ideation process and creative needs of the Product Development team.
  • Ensure timely developments of products by working closely with suppliers and the sourcing team.
  • Commit to proper turnovers of necessary documents to efficiently brief suppliers on new products & designs.
  • Manage & collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team for approvals, sign offs, product briefs, & quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to understand the company's objectives and target audience for the launch.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop a launch plan that includes timeline for different communication channels and tactics.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on the best ways to communicate the product's value and differentiators to different audience segments.
  • Assist team members to complete projects or meet deadlines as deemed necessary by the Manager.

YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising or any other related field
  • Proficient & knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, 3D Design, & MS Office
  • Project management skills

  • Passionate about design, development & innovation
  • Ability to work under pressure
