What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new mechanical engineering products.
  • Analyze and interpret technical requirements, translate them into detailed design specifications.
  • Conduct research, perform calculations, and generate 3D models and prototypes to validate design concepts.
  • Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
  • Test and validate product designs to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Document design processes and maintain comprehensive technical records
  • Support the production team during the manufacturing and implementation stages.
  • Continuously explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance the company's design capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in the technology industry
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Experience in product testing, validation, and continuous improvement
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
