QA/Trainer – Job Description

Position Overview

The QA/Trainer is responsible for monitoring and evaluating employee performance, ensuring adherence to company standards, and delivering training programs that support skill development and operational excellence. This role ensures consistent service quality, identifies improvement opportunities, and equips employees with the knowledge and tools needed to perform effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance through call reviews, task audits, or process checks.
  • Develop QA checklists, scoring sheets, and quality standards aligned with company policies.
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions or coaching sessions.
  • Prepare QA reports, performance analyses, and recommendations for management.
  • Conduct regular calibration sessions with supervisors to ensure consistent evaluation standards.

Training & Development

  • Facilitate onboarding training for new employees, covering processes, systems, and company policies.
  • Conduct refresher training, skills enhancement sessions, and product/process updates for existing staff.
  • Develop training modules, presentations, and learning materials.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, practical demonstrations, and post-training monitoring.
  • Maintain training records, attendance logs, and evaluation documentation.

Process Improvement & Support

  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and other departments to improve workflows and training content.
  • Stay updated on process changes, new tools, and best practices to integrate into QA and training programs.
  • Assist in developing SOPs, guidelines, and communication updates.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees needing additional support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Business, Communication, or related field (optional, depending on company).
  • Experience in QA and/or training roles, preferably in a customer service, operations, or BPO/logistics environment.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and training tools; experience with LMS or QA systems is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, patience, and ability to work with diverse groups of employees.
