Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of the Line QC inspector is to check the materials in compliance with the standard QC checking and to ensure the quality and completeness of the materials in accordance with the approved requirements.

  1. Check materials in compliance with the standard QC Checking based on defect classifications.

  2. Check alignment with Rex product standards and specifications.

  3. Scrutinize the material on the technical aspects.

  4. Accomplish QC Databases, Wrike logs for data collaboration and monitoring.

  5. Summarizing and reporting data for weekly presentation

  6. Ensure completion of material checking in a timely manner.

  7. Timely coordination of implementation of corrections for materials with findings to Production.

  8. Monitoring of quality yield performance (1st Pass, 2nd Pass, 3rd Pass Yield) per material and overall feedback to Production.

  9. Coordination with Production Department and CQM for quality improvement.

Job Qualifications;

Education: College degree in Education, Journalism, Communication, Law, and other related courses.

Experience(s): Preferably with at least 1 year experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in any industry. Familiarity with Publishing or Editorial Quality Assurance / Quality Control but not required.

Specific Knowledge:  

Language and Literacy, Proofreading, Microsoft Office, Adobe Application (Acrobat and InCopy)
