The Accounts Receivable is responsible in ensuring that the company receives payments for goods and

services, properly records the transactions by posting receipts and resolving discrepancies according to

established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintaining an up-to-date daily sales records and capture all sales transactions from various channels.

2. Generating and sending out invoices for collection to business partners.

3. Allocating, following up, and recording payments in coordination with the Treasury Department.

4. Recording and reporting all daily work-related sales activities.

5. Following very specific and strict deadlines in relation to sales cutoff.

6. Performing sales account reconciliations including checking of deposit of daily cash sales, credit card

settlements, goods on consignment and e-commerce transactions.

7. Being on the look-out for delayed or missed payments and other such irregularities

8. Researching and resolving collection / payment discrepancies

9. Reviewing account statuses for any overdue accounts

10. Ensuring compliance with the company's sales accounting procedures

11. Processing account and company adjustments

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking or relevant field.

  • Preferably at least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

  • General math skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.

  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

  • Tracking budget expenses.

  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.

  • Excellent data entry skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.

  • Effective organizational, stress and time management skills.

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently or as a team member.

  • The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company.
