About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President for Solutions Engineering who combines deep technical capability with strong customer engagement skills. This leader will serve as the technical counterpart to our Vice Presidents for Business Development, owning solution strategy, architecture and technical validation across our cybersecurity and SOC focused offerings. This is a hands on executive role that requires confidence in front of CIOs and CTOs, strong presales leadership and an ability to translate complex technology into clear business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead all technical engagements across ISPs, conglomerates, large enterprise customers and the public sector.


• Own solution architecture across SOC, SIEM, XDR, threat intelligence, network telemetry and security operations.


• Deliver executive level presentations, technical deep dives and solution workshops.


• Oversee and execute proof of concepts including architecture design, configuration, troubleshooting and optimisation.


• Create HLDs, end to end architectures and integration frameworks aligned to customer environments.


• Partner with Business Development VPs to craft winning strategies, proposals and customer roadmaps.


• Lead responses for RFPs, security questionnaires and technical assessments.


• Act as the senior most technical voice in customer conversations, ensuring credibility and trust.


• Work with engineering and product teams to influence roadmap and ensure alignment between customer needs and solution capabilities.


• Mentor future presales engineers as the company grows.

Required Skills and Experience


• Strong background with SOC technology stacks including SIEM, SOAR, EDR or XDR and threat intelligence.


• Deep understanding of enterprise networking including firewalls, routing, switching, VPN, DNS and netflow.


• Proven leadership in presales or solutions engineering within cybersecurity or managed security services.


• Hands on technical ability required able to design and configure full solutions end to end.


• Exceptional communication skills able to engage both technical and executive stakeholders with confidence.


• Experience presenting to leadership teams and representing your organisation in strategic conversations.


• Prior exposure to MSSP, ISP, conglomerate, large enterprise or public sector engagements is a strong advantage.
