Position Summary:

The CPA is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely preparation of financial reports. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide financial insights that support business decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide management with accurate and timely financial insights and recommendations.
2. General Accounting
  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
3. Tax Preparation & Compliance
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns, withholding taxes, and VAT.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and other government requirements.
  • Advise management on tax strategies and updates on new regulations.
4. Audit & Internal Controls
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and report variances.
6. Financial Advisory
  • Provide guidance on financial planning, cost reduction, and profitability improvement.
  • Support management in strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • With experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
