Job Summary:

The Front of the House: Cashier is responsible for processing transactions accurately, handling cash and electronic payments, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. This role also involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting with basic store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smile and greet customers when assisting with orders.
  • Process payments (cash, credit/debit card, digital/cashless transactions).
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
  • Record all transactions accurately in the system.
  • Count cash at the beginning and end of shifts and reconcile sales.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Follow the company's cash handling, refund, and discount policies.
  • Assist in store upkeep, including restocking supplies and cleanliness.
  • Work collaboratively with team members for smooth store operations.
  • Turn over money at every change of cashier or shift end.

Job Type: Full-time
