JOB SUMMARY :

Assist in the development and proper implementation of the overall Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System, and Feed Safety Management System programs, and the assurance of necessary regulatory and accreditation compliances.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A graduate of Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on knowledge of GMP environments and QA systems, including CAPA, deviation management, batch record review, and change control.
  • Familiarity with regulatory inspections and audit preparation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across various departments with both excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with an ability to manage and complete multiple tasks on time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assists in the development of programs:

  2. Food Safety and Feed Safety Systems

  3. Food Defense and Food Fraud Program

  4. Allergen Control Program

  5. Support the QA Supervisor in the implementation of the Food Safety System, including its prerequisite programs such as GMP/HACCP, Integrated Pest Management, self-inspection, internal audit, etc.

  6. Identify and establish quality assurance standards based on an understanding of customer expectations and industry requirements.

  7. Inspect to ensure product quality conformance for warehousing and storage.

  8. Ensure product consistency, validate the operations process for oil milling and refining.

  9. Ensure conformity to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), parameters, and product quality to prevent and control defects.

  10. Assist in the conduct of Root Cause Analysis.

  11. Analyze the data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.

  12. Oversee Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation, as well as documentation with other departments.

  13. Collaborate with Production teams to identify areas for quality improvement.

  14. Conduct an interplant audit to ensure compliance with established quality assurance standards.

  15. Assist in all audit preparations for AIB and FSSC 22000 compliance.

  16. Monitor and assist in processing the accreditation of FDA, Kosher, Halal, and ISO 9001:2015.

  17. Assist in the development of training materials for quality assurance and compliance staff, as well as training session preparation.

  18. Conduct training sessions with the team members to enhance their understanding of quality assurance protocols.

  19. Prepare quality metrics, performance reports, and other reports requested by the management.

  20. Review and update Food Safety and Quality Manuals.

  21. Ensure the integrity of the documentation and the maintenance of the documents and records.

  22. Monitor the quality management system's overall implementation.

  23. Adhere to and comply with all management programs implemented by the company, including but not limited to food safety and quality management system, environmental, health, and safety regulations, sustainability initiatives, and operational excellence frameworks.

  24. Perform other related jobs as required.
