About the role

Join the team at Southern Arms Corporation as a full-time Accounts Receivable Officer based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. In this role, you will play a key part in the company's accounting and credit control operations, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the accounts receivable process from start to finish, including invoicing, following up on overdue payments, and resolving billing discrepancies
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers and monitor credit limits for existing customers
  • Liaise with customers to address their queries and concerns regarding their accounts
  • Prepare accurate and timely accounts receivable reports for management
  • Support the accounting team with various ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • A detail-oriented and organised approach to work, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
