  • Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) programs for all phases of construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to understand quality requirements.
  • Identify and resolve non-conformance issues, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project quality objectives are met.
  • Perform material inspections and ensure that materials comply with quality standards before use on-site.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC reports, records, and documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss quality performance, concerns, and improvements.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for construction teams on quality standards and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of the Quality Plan and support project team members in maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.
  • Certifications: ISO 9001, NEBOSH, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
