About the Role

We are looking for a Sales and Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in Philippines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of technological innovation, contributing to our mission of driving excellence and pushing the boundaries in the test and measurement industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilizing various methods like cold calling, email outreach, social media prospecting, and networking to identify and qualify potential customers that align with the ideal customer profile.
  • Gathering information about industry trends, competitor analysis, and target market demographics to develop effective prospecting strategies.
  • Assessing potential leads based on their needs, budget, decision-making authority, and potential fit with the company's offerings.
  • Establishing rapport with prospective clients through personalized communication, demonstrating value proposition, and understanding their pain points.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations highlighting the benefits of the company's products or services to potential customers.
  • Maintaining accurate information on leads and prospects within the company's CRM system, tracking progress throughout the sales cycle.
  • Actively engaging with leads through consistent communication, addressing concerns, and nurturing relationships until they are ready to move forward.
  • Identifying opportunities, prioritizing leads, and managing the sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue generation.
  • Participate in marketing functions/operations including maintaining up-to-date customer base, sending out EDMs, maintaining a professional social media presence & reporting to marketing manager on activities/progress.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Familiarity with test and measurement equipment (e.g. digital oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Philippines for client meetings, technical supports, events, and demonstrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively engage with potential customers.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle, objection handling techniques, and closing strategies.
  • Capability to gather market intelligence and identify potential leads through various sources.
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition and effectively convince prospects to consider the company's solutions.
  • Efficiently managing a large volume of leads and prioritizing tasks to meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to track lead activity and manage sales pipeline.
