Job Description

As a Hospitality & Facilities Administrative Support Officer, you will assist the Manager - Hospitality by providing administrative and coordination support across catering, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, facility maintenance, and compliance functions. You'll ensure smooth daily operations and regulatory compliance across four aged care nursing homes.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in hospitality, facilities, and administrative support
  • Experience supporting hospitality, aged care, or facilities operations (highly regarded)
  • Familiarity with compliance processes in an Australian healthcare or aged care context is desirable
  • Experience working in an international aged care or housing environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of laundry and facility maintenance processes is an advantage
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple calendars and track compliance schedules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in engaging internal and external stakeholders to ensure task completion
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Comfortable managing outbound calls to follow up on compliance, maintenance, and operational matters
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach

Your Daily Tasks

  • Catering: Assist with food safety compliance tracking and administrative support for kitchen operations
  • Food & Dining: Support with menu planning documentation, dietary records, and service logistics
  • Laundry & Housekeeping: Coordinate laundry and general upkeep tasks, ensuring a high standard of presentation across sites
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Track preventative and reactive maintenance activities, escalate issues, and maintain contractor schedules
  • Group Property Management: Maintain records for motor vehicle registration, insurance, fire safety compliance, and contractor requirements
  • Compliance Calendar: Create and manage rolling calendars for compliance and registration requirements across the facilities
  • Outbound Communication: Make outbound calls to suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to follow up on outstanding actions
