About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Draftsperson with 2–3 years of experience in the Australian construction industry to join a renovation-focused building business. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, turning 2D designs into elevations and construction-ready plans, and ensuring compliance with Australian residential building codes and regulations. This role requires not only drafting skills but also a practical mindset — someone who understands how designs translate into real-world builds.
Key Responsibilities
· Produce accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and ArchiCAD.
· Convert design sketches and concepts into elevations and building plans suitable for construction.
· Ensure all documentation aligns with Australian residential building codes, NCC, and local regulations.
· Collaborate with builders, project managers, and clients to refine designs and resolve potential issues.
· Apply practical construction knowledge to ensure designs are feasible, buildable, and cost-effective.
· Maintain version control and ensure drawings are clear, precise, and detailed.
· Provide technical input during the planning and approvals process.
Skills and Experience Required
· 2–3 years' drafting experience within the Australian construction industry.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArchiCAD.
· Strong knowledge of Australian residential building codes and regulations.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
· High level of attention to detail with a practical mindset.
· Ability to translate design concepts into buildable solutions.
Nice to Have
· Prior experience working on renovations.
· Familiarity or background in quantity surveying.
· Knowledge of construction estimating processes.

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month

Experience:
- working on renovations prior: 1 year (Preferred)
- quantity surveying: 1 year (Preferred)
- drafting within the Australian construction industry: 2 years (Required)
- AutoCAD and ArchiCAD: 2 years (Required)
- Australian residential building codes and regulations: 1 year (Required)
