HR and Culture Manager

The HR & Culture Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for building and nurturing a thriving and inclusive work environment across all businesses under the management service company. This role requires a highly experienced and versatile HR professional with a deep understanding of all facets of human resources, including recruitment, hiring, people management, legal and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of building a high-performing HR team, developing talent, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and requires close collaboration with the CEO and offshore stakeholders in Australia. Travel to different business locations will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Building:
- Build and lead the HR team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment within the HR team and across the organization.
- Mentor and develop HR team members, creating clear career pathways and providing opportunities for professional growth.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and secure top talent for all managed businesses.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and managing the offer process.
- Implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the company culture and ensure their success.
- Develop and implement talent management programs, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
People Management & Employee Relations:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee employee benefits programs and ensure their effective administration.
Learning & Development:
- Identify training and development needs across all managed businesses.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Create career development pathways for employees, providing opportunities for advancement and growth.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed.
Legal & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment law and regulations.
- Manage HR-related legal issues, working closely with legal counsel as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
HR Operations & Administration:
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition, people management, and legal compliance.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing HR teams.
- Strong understanding of all facets of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience working with multiple businesses or in a shared services environment is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50, Php65,000.00 per month
