Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 6:00AM – 3:00PM)

What you'll be doing:

  • The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the firm's financial operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives to ensure efficiency, profitability, and regulatory adherence. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all financial matters and supports senior leadership in achieving organizational goals. He will report to the General Manager and Chief Financial Officer. The client maintains offices in major capital cities across Australia and collaborates with affiliate firms throughout the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East, positioning the firm to effectively support clients with operations extending across Australia and internationally. A global presence demands exceptional capability. Accordingly, every client office is staffed with highly skilled legal professionals committed to delivering superior service. The firm's depth of expertise and strategic insights have consistently produced outstanding results for its clients, including several prominent, globally recognized organizations.

What will make you a great fit:

  • Must have University Degree in Finance and Accounting, with a CA / CPA qualification.
  • 5-10 years' experience as a Finance Controller in a professional corporate environment (legal practice preferred), with thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, financial modelling and tailing requirements specific for the organization's needs.
  • Management of Finance Teams and ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and managers.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
