About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in Makati. As our Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the overall business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting processes, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard the company's assets
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making by the management team
  • Liaise with external auditors and government agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or its equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a financial controller or senior finance role, preferably in the services industry
  • Demonstrable expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficient in the use of financial management software and data analysis tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices
