About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Good Pastry Café' in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our café, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the smooth running of our kitchen. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development within our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the work of kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
  • Monitoring the quality of food and service to maintain our high standards
  • Overseeing inventory management and stock control to minimize waste and optimize costs
  • Addressing customer queries and complaints with a professional and solution-oriented approach
  • Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to kitchen staff to develop their skills
  • Collaborating with the management team to implement operational improvements and streamline processes
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced food service or hospitality environment
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • A passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
