We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of our accounting department. Key Responsibilities

The Accounting Assistant will support the Accounting Manager by handling the following core duties:

  1. Maintains financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  2. Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
  3. Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.
  4. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  5. Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
  6. Responding to information request, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
  7. Ensuring monthly and quarterly compliance with BIR and SEC
  8. Assisting the Accounting Manager as needed.
  9. Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or any related business course.
  • [1-2 years of solid experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting support role is highly preferred (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply).
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with standard accounting software or ERP systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
