Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordination & Planning
  • Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) works with the project team, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Review plans, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment across all MEPF disciplines.
  • Prepare coordination schedules and participate in technical coordination meetings.

2. Site Monitoring & Implementation

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure MEPF works are executed according to approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Identify clashes, discrepancies, or issues on-site and recommend immediate corrective actions.
  • Monitor progress of MEPF installations and ensure timely completion of activities.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain updated records of drawings, inspection reports, permits, and other MEPF-related documents.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on MEPF activities, updates, delays, and accomplishments.
  • Facilitate inspection requests and coordinate with QA/QC and consultants for approvals.

4. Technical Support

  • Provide technical assistance to site engineers and subcontractors regarding MEPF requirements.
  • Verify materials delivered on-site to ensure compliance with approved submittals.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of all MEPF systems.

5. Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure adherence to project standards, building codes, and government regulations.
  • Conduct punch listing and assist in final inspections prior to turnover.
  • Support the implementation of safety protocols related to MEPF works.

6. Coordination with Other Trades

  • Ensure MEPF installations are properly coordinated with architectural, structural, and interior works.
  • Solve cross-discipline conflicts through coordination drawings and meetings.
