Your role is to help visually tell this story across all platforms.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Video Editor who can own our long-form YouTube content, high-retention short-form content, and graphic design needs. You must be highly experienced, creative, fast, and able to work autonomously within a growing brand.

Responsibilities

Video Editing – Long Form

- Edit 6–15 minute YouTube videos with strong retention, pacing, and narrative clarity.

- Add b-roll, overlays, captions, music, and brand-consistent graphics.

- Build engaging openings with proven YouTube hook methods.

Video Editing – Short Form

- Execute the Hook ? Retain ? Reward method for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.

- Add dynamic subtitles, zooms, cuts, meme inserts, and pacing adjustments.

- Produce scroll-stopping, high-retention content.

Graphic Design & Photo Editing

- Create YouTube thumbnails and graphic assets.

- Design text treatments, overlays, and promotional visuals.

- Edit lifestyle and product photos for multi-platform use.

Brand Storytelling

- Align all edits with our brand themes: freedom, connection, capability, control.

- Contribute creative ideas and concepts for future video content.

AI Editing Workflow

- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Topaz, Adobe AI, Descript, etc.) to speed up workflow.

- Help the team integrate AI-enhanced processes to increase output.

Cross-Platform Optimization

- Edit in multiple aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 1:1.

- Prepare final deliverables in organized, structured folders.

- Optimize content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.

Collaboration

- Work closely with the content team and leadership.

- Follow SOPs and meet deadlines consistently.

- Join weekly content check-ins.

Required Skills

- Ability to work graveyard shifts

- 3–5+ years professional editing experience.

- Adobe Premiere Pro expert.

- Strong Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma skills.

- Proven experience editing YouTube channels and short-form content.

- Strong understanding of retention, pacing, story structure, and attention engineering.

- Ability to edit lifestyle, outdoor, product, and UGC-style content.

- Experience creating high-converting thumbnails.

- Strong understanding of modern social media content trends.

- Fast, reliable, and detail-oriented

Bonus Experience

- Motion graphics or animation skills.

- Experience in e-commerce, outdoor brands, or creator channels.

- Understanding of YouTube SEO (titles, thumbnails, keywords).

- Ability to generate ideas for hooks, storylines, and visual treatments.
