About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our wedding editing team. In this role, you will manage the complete editing workflow—from initial file download through final video delivery—ensuring every client receives a beautiful, timeless videos of their special day. You will be paid on a per-project basis. You will be expected to complete 3 wedding assignments per week.

Pay is per finished video (Each wedding assignments will vary, but will always have highlight):

$30 - Finished highlight video

$20 - Finished documentary

$10 - Full Ceremony

$10 - Full Toasts

$10 - Full First Dance

$10 - 1 Minute Instagram Teaser

Key Responsibilities

  • Download and organize complete collections of unedited video and audio files from each wedding (typically GB)
  • Carefully review and cull the videos down to create a 5-7 minutes highlight video
  • Ability to edit multi-cam and audio videos to create Full Format videos from beginning to end
  • Exercise professional judgment to include all footage clients would expect or want to receive
  • Edit videos using our established LUTS in Adobe Premiere
  • Perform essential adjustments including exposure, shadows, highlights, tint, white balance, noise reduction, cropping, and straightening
  • Ensure consistency and quality across the entire gallery
  • Deliver polished, client-ready video projects on schedule

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in wedding videography
  • Strong understanding of wedding videography standards and client expectations
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
  • Excellent eye for detail and consistency
  • Ability to make sound judgment calls when culling and selecting videos
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines
