We are looking for a creative video editor to join our marketing team You'll be creating content specifically designed for each platform meaning our Instagram Reels, YouTube, and more. This is NOT a repurposing role; we create intentional, platform-native content.

Initial Scope

• 1-2 high-quality Instagram Reels per day
• 1-2 YouTube videos per month
• Content is created intentionally per platform (not repurposed)
• Part-time to start, scaling into a long-term, higher-responsibility role

Requirements

Editing Software (REQUIRED):

• Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional software
• CapCut-only editors will NOT be considered — we need professional-grade editing capabilities

Skills we're looking for:

• Strong understanding of social media trends and attention-grabbing techniques

• Ability to review raw footage and create a plan to turn it into professional content
• Proficiency with music, graphics, b-roll, and effects

Your Top Tasks

• Editing Real Estate Vlogs for YouTube
• Creating platform-native Instagram Reels (not just cutting down long-form content)
• Manipulating and editing video content to keep the audience's attention
• Reviewing raw footage and creating a plan to turn it into professional clips
• Trimming footage segments and assembling sequences
• Adding music, dialogues, graphics, b-roll, and effects as needed
• Creating rough and final cuts
• Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth flow
• Continuously discovering and implementing new editing trends and best practices

Trial & Probation

IMPORTANT: You will receive a trial task BEFORE your first interview. This helps us assess skill fit and filters candidates who are serious about the role.

• Trial Test: Must be completed before interview
• Probation Period: 3 months paid probation upon agreement

Working Hours & Location

This is a work from home job meaning you spend less time commuting and more time with family or loved ones.

Flexible hours but preference are given to applicants between 3:00 PM to 12 PM (Calgary Time)

About Us

I run the LiveInnerCity Real Estate Team in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our team includes Transaction Coordinators and a full Marketing Team based in the Philippines with a Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Video Editors already on board. We're now looking to add another talented video editor to help us scale our content and grow the brand.

We are not just looking for an editor, but a partner we can depend on. We hope this person stays with us for the long term — as we grow, you will be given more responsibilities and higher pay. We're seeking someone who is loyal, coachable, and dedicated to our mutual success.
