A Chef de Partie is responsible for running a specific section in the kitchen and reports directly to the Sous Chef.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Production and planning

· Responsible for food preparation and ensuring all food production is completed ahead of time.

· Washes, chops, and cuts meat, vegetables, fruits, and all other ingredients.

· Handles plating of meals from appetizers to desserts.

· Ensures all menus are presented according to company standard recipes, with emphasis on taste, presentation, and established portions.

2. Dispatching

· Ensures accuracy and completeness of food production on time.

· Prevent delays in service to avoid customer complaints.

3. Costing

· Check that all merchandise received meets specifications and quality standards.

· Ensures consistency in preparation across all food production areas.

· Monitors spoilage and records leftovers.

· Ensures food cost and variance targets are maintained.

4. Cleanliness, Health, Safety & Sanitation

· Maintains cleanliness and a safe working environment.

· Keeps all work areas organized and sanitized.

· Maintains strict adherence to Food Hygiene and Sanitation standards.

· Compliance with health and safety.

· Assists in monitoring food hygiene practices.

Requirements:


Graduate of any culinary course, HRM, or any related courses.

Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience as a Chef de Partie.

Able to communicate and coordinate with Management and staff.

Willing to work on weekends and holidays.

Can start immediatley.

Walk-in applicants are welcome every Tuesday and Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Our office is located at #34 Big Horseshoe Drive Horseshoe Village, QC. (near Robinson's Magnolia).
