Job Title: Healthcare Recruiter (Physicians & Pharmacists)Position Overview

Our client is a fast-growing healthcare recruitment agency specializing in placing physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals across Canada. We partner with top clinics, hospitals, and healthcare organizations to solve their talent shortages quickly and professionally.

We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building strong candidate pipelines, managing the full recruitment cycle, and ensuring successful placements of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment:

Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare roles from sourcing to onboarding.

  • Candidate Sourcing:

Proactively identify, attract, and engage healthcare professionals through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, CPSO/OCP registries, IMG networks, directories, referrals, and networking.

  • Screening & Assessment:

Evaluate candidates to ensure compliance with licensing requirements, client-specific needs, and relocation availability. Conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.

  • Interview Coordination & Offer Management:

Schedule and facilitate client interviews, manage candidate experience, negotiate offers, and support candidates through the decision-making process.

  • Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS):

Maintain accurate and updated records in the ATS, ensuring compliance and smooth recruitment operations.

  • Market Knowledge & Networking:

Stay informed about healthcare workforce trends, licensing requirements, and emerging recruitment strategies to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven recruitment experience (healthcare recruitment strongly preferred, but not required).
  • Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, online directories, and professional networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Familiarity with Canadian healthcare regulations and licensing (CPSO, OCP, IMG pathways) is an asset.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
