IT Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide timely and effective troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution for issues related to computer and laptop hardware and software for all staff.
• Peripheral Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
• Network Operations: Assist in the setup, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of computer network components, including routers, switches, access points (APs), and related cabling.
• System Mastery & Integration: Quickly learn, utilize, and provide support for various business computer systems, such as Project Management applications, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, infrastructure, and troubleshooting steps.
• Technology Exploration: Actively research and learn about new and emerging technologies relevant to the organization's needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing PC/laptop hardware and software faults (e.g., operating systems, drivers, common applications).
• Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices (routers, switches, APs).
• Troubleshooting Expertise: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to technical issues.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner when faced with new and complex computer systems and proprietary applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, specialized project tools).
• Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Desirable (Plus) Skills & Attributes

• Digital Content: Know-how or foundational skills in graphic design and/or video editing software.
• Emerging Technology Interest: Willingness to learn and experiment with various new technologies such as:
• IoT & Embedded Systems (e.g., ESP boards, Raspberry Pi)
• Specialized Hardware (e.g., GPS trackers, Body Cameras, 3D printers)
• Self-Motivation: Highly motivated to take initiative, work independently, and contribute to continuous improvement within the IT function.

Pay: From Php15,000.00 per month
