Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 9:00PM – 6:00AM then 3:00PM to 12:00 MN)

What you'll be doing:

  • Personal or corporate inquires with the government (written)
  • Searching and confirming government information on behalf of the client
  • Participating in producing tax returns
  • Performing tasks related to bookkeeping
  • Being the point of contact to facilitate internal and external communication
  • Producing simple payroll and sales tax remittances
  • General administrative support to the team and firm when needed
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement, participating in the development and implementation of these improvements, and setting standards for new processes

What will make you a great fit:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French is an asset)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of TaxPrep and CaseWare is an asset
  • A college diploma in administration or accounting
  • Previous experience in an accounting firm is an asset
