The Head, Operations MIS is primarily responsible for all reporting requests for Bank's operational functions like AML, Fraud, Audit, Compliance etc. The role is is responsible for developing and implementing reports, dashboards as well as generating data driven insights to guide relevant stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for overseeing adhoc analytics requests from functions like AML and Fraud and partner with them to drive initiatives for prevention of financial crime.

Management & Networking

Developing and implementing a comprehensive automated reporting and dashboards to support the needs of stakeholders. This includes defining key metrics and exception reporting which can be actioned by other departments

Data Analysis & Insights:

Leading the analysis of customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for prevention of financial crime. This involves using various analytical techniques, including segmentation, predictive modeling, and A/B testing. Translates business questions into the appropriate visuals to facilitate data storytelling

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Tracking and reporting on the performance of key metrics , identifying areas for improvement, and communicating results to stakeholders

Team Management & Development:

Building, mentoring, and leading a team of analysts and specialists. Fostering a data-driven culture and ensuring team members have the skills and resources to succeed

Technical

  • Utilizes a variety of applications, such as but not limited to Qlik Sense/Tableau/Quick BI. Experience in working with multiple large complex data sets and write queries to massage data, join tables, aggregate and transform data in Qlik Sense/Tableau/Quick BI
  • Experience in using statistical computer languages (Python, R, SQL etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Applies mathematical and statistical concepts to analyze data and provide insights
  • Documents scripts and formulas used for key metrics to create business transparency and data governance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering/Operations Research, Informatics or any related field
  • MBA a plus
  • 3 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, and data analysis
  • 2 years of relevant experience in banking with analytics experience in AML/Fraud reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php100, Php130,000.00 per month
