POSITION OVERVIEW

The Banquet Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of banquets and events, including set-up, food service, and clean-up. He/she ensures that the events are held smoothly and meet or exceed guests' expectations. The Banquet Supervisor leads and trains his/her team to ensure success, especially for simultaneous events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the preparation of banquet halls and ensure that the spaces are visually appealing, present the theme required by the guests, properly display the menu offering for the event, and are safe for every participant

Provide unique and creative ideas to enhance meetings and group experience

Ensure the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet halls, and storage areas.

Supervise events and team members throughout the service. Guide the banquet servers in the set-up of tables and place settings.

Implementing the service standards and operating procedures in the banquet and catering service in a consistent manner

Coordinate with the kitchen and housekeeping department to ensure guest satisfaction and availability of stocks needed for the event.
