Responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests in the hotel's restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet halls, or room service. The role ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and creating a welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and ensure accurate service.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist with recommending menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Handle guest complaints courteously and report to the supervisor if needed.

Operational Duties

  • Set up tables according to hotel standards (cutlery, glasses, tableware, condiments).
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of dining areas before, during, and after service.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings.
  • Assist in banquet/room service as required.
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Team Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to ensure accurate and timely service.
  • Support colleagues during busy service periods.
  • Attend daily briefings to understand menu changes, promotions, and VIP guests.

Cashiering & Reporting

  • Operate POS system for billing and payment processing.
  • Ensure accuracy in orders, billing, and guest checks.
  • Report any breakage, shortages, or issues to supervisors
