Job Description

Merchandising

  • Manages the inventory level of merchandising and promotional items within the area of coverage
  • Analyzes competitive environment in area of responsibility and develop a deployment plan for merchandising materials to generate brand awareness, pre-empting or responding to the activities of competition
  • Takes lead on merchandising activities during blitz, event sponsorships, company-initiated events and promotional activities
  • Ensure consistent execution of merchandising plans based on standards set by the company

Trade and Consumer Promotion

  • Analyzes competitive environment and takes the point in developing below the line trade and consumer promotions designed and fit for the requirement and demands of his area of responsibility
  • Implements below the line (BLT) and above the line (ATL) trade and consumer promotions, working with sales groups, trade marketing and 3rd party agencies to create brand awareness, induce trial, increase off-take and build brand loyalty
  • Monitors the efficiency and proper implementation of trade and consumer promotions
  • Preparation of closure report with key performance indicators and areas for improvements events
  • Takes the lead in processing request for sponsorship in area of responsibility, recommends business participation and negotiate arrangements that will add value and beneficial to the company's marketing efforts
  • Manages logistics of company infrastructures and outsourced equipment from ingress to egress
  • Arranges and implements merchandising, sampling/selling activities for special events
  • Coordinates with 3rd party agencies providing technical and professional services to the company
  • Manage implementation of events and sponsorships with brand awareness, consumer connection and activity ownership being a top-of-mind priority
  • Prepares monthly inventory reports of merchandising materials and recommends replenishment to manage stocking levels and satisfy the demands and requirements of both the trade partners and consumers
  • Monitors on-going ATL and BLT promotional activities as well as competitive activities and updates concerned groups on activity progress, insights and adjustments needed
  • Prepares closure reports on events and sponsorships implemented evaluating the key performance details, cost and effectiveness of the activity

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational and experience required: College education of any course.

Preferably have exposure / experience in merchandising and set-up, BTL activations and 3rd party manpower handling.

Preferably with 2 years' supervisory experience in the same field.
