About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist (Med Tech) to join our team at Borough Medical Care Institute Inc. in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Med Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals by conducting a variety of diagnostic tests and analyses. What you'll be doing

  • Performing a range of laboratory tests, including haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and other specialised analyses
  • Collecting, processing, and analysing patient specimens to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all test procedures and findings
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to interpret test results and provide insights to support patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure the integrity of laboratory operations
  • Assisting in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest medical laboratory practices and technologies

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field
  • Possession of a valid license as a Medical Technologist, issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist in a healthcare setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and thorough records
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide clear explanations to patients
  • Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and information systems
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
