We are looking for a
Lead Automation Tester
with extensive experience in
Test Automation
, a strong background in the
life insurance domain
, and
Must have a
hands-on expertise in TOSCA
. The ideal candidate will lead a team of testers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through well-structured and scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the automation testing efforts across projects in the
    life insurance domain
    .
  • Design and develop
    automation test scripts using TOSCA
    .
  • Define and implement best practices in test automation frameworks, strategy, and processes.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and business analyst teams to ensure quality delivery.
  • Ensure test coverage across functional and regression testing using automation.
  • Review test cases, scripts, and defects to ensure high standards.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior testers in the team.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and status updates to stakeholders and project managers.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Minimum
    6–8 years of experience
    in software testing with a focus on
    test automation
    .
  • At least
    2+ years of experience working with TOSCA
    .
  • Strong understanding of the
    life insurance domain
    , including product rules, policy lifecycle, claims, and underwriting processes.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable
    automation frameworks
    .
  • Experience in
    Agile/Scrum
    environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestComplete) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • ISTQB or other testing certifications.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology
    , or a related field.
