Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven
IT Sales professional
to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and delivering tailored technology solutions. The role involves selling IT products, services, and solutions to meet client needs while achieving revenue targets and contributing to the company's overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify, research, and target new business opportunities in the IT sector.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through cold calls, networking, social media, and referrals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and penetrate new markets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand client business requirements and propose suitable IT products or solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact, providing after-sales support and handling client inquiries.

3. Sales & Solution Selling

  • Present, promote, and sell IT products, solutions, and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical presentations to showcase value propositions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, close sales, and ensure targets are met or exceeded.

4. Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' offerings.
  • Understand the company's portfolio of hardware, software, cloud solutions, cybersecurity products, and managed IT services.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market demands and customer preferences.

5. Reporting & Collaboration

  • Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts and reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing
    , or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in
    IT sales, business development, or account management
    (typically 2–5 years for executives, 5–10 years for managers).
  • Familiarity with
    IT products, cloud solutions, SaaS, cybersecurity, hardware, and managed services
    is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital sales platforms.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Number of new clients acquired and accounts retained.
  • Pipeline growth and conversion rates.
  • Customer satisfaction and repeat business.
