About the Role – Technical Sales Development Specialist

As a
Technical Sales Development Specialist
, you will drive sales growth by generating leads, developing market opportunities, and supporting technical pre-sales engagements across ASEAN. This hybrid role combines
outbound sales development and technical business acumen
, making it ideal for someone with prospecting experience who is eager to grow into technical pre-sales and business development.

You will work closely with strategic partners (AWS, Google, Azure, Datadog, etc.) and support enterprise customers in cloud, cybersecurity, and AI solutions. Based in the Philippines with regional responsibilities, this position requires a
hunter mindset, strong technical and commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound & Lead Generation

  • Initiate warm calling, outbound calls, emails, or messages to engage prospects and introduce products/services. Address the needs and pain points of prospective customers effectively.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Personalize outreach to address customer needs and pain points.
  • Execute targeted campaigns across ASEAN markets.

Qualification & Appointment Setting

  • Conduct thorough qualification of leads to determine their suitability and readiness for the sales process.
  • Assessment profiling to understand the challenges, requirements of prospects.
  • Schedule meetings/demos for Sales Managers, ensuring smooth handover.

CRM & Reporting

  • Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track interactions, update lead status, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and follow-up actions.
  • Share insights with sales/marketing teams to improve campaign effectiveness.

Technical Pre-Sales Support

  • Act as a technical point of contact in early engagements.
  • Align customer needs with Netron's value propositions.
  • Support feasibility studies, demos, and work with internal experts.

Strategic Account & Partner Collaboration

  • Identify and develop high-potential accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to advance deals with technical depth.
  • Build relationships with partners (AWS, Google, Azure, etc.) to strengthen go-to-market opportunities.

Continuous Learning and Compliance:

  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques to enhance outbound effectiveness.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align outbound efforts with business objectives.
  • Share insights and strategies to improve outbound effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with a solid foundation in technology and business.
  • 2+ years of outbound lead generation experience
    , ideally in the tech or cloud industry.
  • Familiarity with
    cloud solutions
    ; exposure to cloud security (DDoS, WAF, BOT, API Protection) is a plus.
  • Proficient in
    CRM systems
    and outbound tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation, marketing platforms).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to
    tailor outreach, qualify leads, and conduct needs assessments
    .
  • Experience in
    scheduling and coordinating meetings/demos
    for sales teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
    with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships at multiple levels.
  • Self-driven, fast learner, and proactive team player
    with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills (English required; Tagalog or other SEA languages a plus).
