Key Responsibilities

People

  • Lead by example, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Manage, guide, and develop team members to achieve performance goals.

Partnership

  • Ensure delivery of services within the Service Partnership Framework, maintaining financial integrity, reporting accuracy, and adherence to group deadlines for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
  • Build strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Operational

  • Oversee accurate and timely posting of journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and Market Finance teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported results.
  • Review and approve reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with group, regional, and market policies as well as statutory, tax, regulatory, and fiscal requirements to minimize financial risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver higher-quality services at reduced cost.

Other Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Lead and execute process improvement projects across complex and evolving business models.
  • Maintain an end-to-end process perspective, ensuring alignment and optimization across interdependent finance functions.
  • Present process-related updates or insights tailored to stakeholder needs.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Background in GBS/Shared Services, FMCG, and experience working in multinational and multicultural environments.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a matrix organization.
  • Results-driven, with proven experience in delivering outcomes in complex finance system landscapes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., AAT, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
