Job Summary

The position is primarily responsible for securing the necessary licenses, permits and documents from various regulatory agencies to facilitate the operation of new and existing businesses in Branch Sales Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Fiscal Compliance Requirements

  1. Prepares and submits all pertinent documents required by regulatory agencies (DTI, LGUs, and Revenue District Offices)
  2. Processes and updates the necessary permits and licenses as required by the BIR and other government regulatory units for new and existing pawnshop branches.
  3. Facilitates payment of licenses, permits, and other documents based on the Department of Finance circular/ordinance of the locality.
  4. Conducts inventory of official receipts and secures permit from BIR to print additional receipts.

B. Coordination

  1. Coordinates with Financial Reporting Compliance all documentary requirements for the processing of BIR, LGU and BSP registration and/or renewal.
  2. Performs branch mapping/inspection to ensure that all branches/personnel have displayed the documentary requirements as mandated by pertinent regulatory bodies. Check levels of inventory of receipts at the branches during branch mapping/inspection.
  3. Manages settlement of BIR tax mapping violation including examination of pawnshop books of accounts and handling of examinations by LGUs.
  4. Coordinates with the concerned units all issues that may arise pertaining to the operations of branches.

C. Others

  1. Keeps and maintains branch registration documents and records.
  2. Represent the pawnshop branch or the company during BIR and LGU examination.
  3. Informs and make recommendations on matters pertinent to business operations and other related activities.
  4. Participates actively during staff meetings, training programs and other professional development work.
  5. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of any Business-related course
  2. At least one (1) year experience in any related field
  3. Knowledgeable in BSP/SEC/DTI rulings, specific finance circular/ordinance of different localities
  4. Amenable to field work
  5. Willing to work in Pampanga
