JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

· Knowledge in the following:

o Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

o Data Protection Policies and Procedures

o Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)

o Data Subject Rights Management

o Data Security and Incident Management

o Training and Awareness

o Audits and Monitoring

o Documentation and Record-Keeping

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in law, Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.

· At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in Compliance

· Sound knowledge on Compliance practices, standards and regulations such as Data Privacy Act of 2012

· Direct experience in managing interactions with regulators including Securities and Exchange Commission, and National Privacy Commission

· Good knowledge of business trends/ changes in legislation and regulation that impact Compliance practices

· Good command of both spoken and written English

·Other relevant tasks that may be required by the immediate supervisor.
