Insurance Virtual Assistant

Job Brief:The Insurance Virtual Assistant is responsible for supporting insurance operations by managing essential administrative tasks within the agency management system. This role involves processing (MVRs), conducting policy checks, and ensuring that all documentation is accurately attached and maintained in Applied EPIC. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in handling insurance-related data with accuracy and confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and review Market Value Reduction (MVRs) as required for client or policy updates.
- Perform policy checking to ensure all details and coverages are accurate and compliant with client or carrier requirements.
- Manage document attachments and uploads in the Applied EPIC system to maintain accurate and complete client files.
- Assist with other administrative or account servicing tasks as directed by the account manager or insurance team.
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality across all client and policy records.
Qualifications:
- At least 1–2 years of experience in the insurance industry or administrative support role.
- Familiarity with insurance processes such as policy checking and MVR handling.
- Experience using Applied EPIC or similar insurance management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
