Associate Lead

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data warehousing and analytics.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to align data strategies, ensuring reliable and efficient data infrastructure.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation, optimizing processes for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data engineering capabilities.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts and adapt to a full onsite work arrangement based on business needs
• As part of a 24/7/365 operation, this is an Office based shift role.
• Shift patterns are based on 8-hour shifts: (Morning 6am-3pm, Evening 2pm-11pm, Night 10pm-7am).

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a lead or mentoring role; strong experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Apache Spark)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala; hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management systems

• Experience with data modeling, data APIs, and data integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging data technologies
• Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives in data engineering
