The HR Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees. Candidates with experience in the food and beverage industry or handling a food-related workforce are highly preferred, as well as those with supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, monthly remittances, and government-mandated benefits.
  • Validate attendance, overtime, and leave records to guarantee accurate payroll computation.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of BIR forms (2316, 1601-C, 1604-C) and Alphalist, in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Handle payroll accounting and reconciliation in coordination with the Finance Department.
  • Ensure timely remittance of government contributions and compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR regulations.
  • Address employee payroll concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, analytics, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper alignment on payroll, benefits, and deductions.
  • Maintain employee records and payroll database with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support HR initiatives and employee relations activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR functions, preferably in the food and beverage or related food services sector.
  • Supervisorial experience in handling teams or staff is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in BIR payroll compliance (2316, 1601-C, 1604-C, Alphalist).
  • Skilled in HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups preferred).
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle employee concerns effectively.
