Description

Virtual Staffing Solutions is currently seeking detail-oriented and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing team. The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and clients, providing excellent customer service, managing appointments, and supporting the overall operations of the healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect complete Patient's demographic information; full name, address, email, phone numbers, and complete insurance information; ID/policy number, guarantor information
  • Verify patients preferred pharmacy and imaging, in quickview
  • Verify patients' demographics, and insurance info during every call
  • Make reminder calls for appointments.
  • Call patients for follow up appointments
  • Collect on all copays, outstanding balances
  • Call to remind patients of outstanding balances Remind patients of any upcoming appointments and or collect balances before ending every call
  • Review scheduling guidelines and schedule notes before scheduling appointments.
  • Collecting complete messages and sending them to appropriate medical team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • At least 6 months in the BPO
  • Previous experience in healthcare programs preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
