Job Summary:

The role will be responsible for overseeing key accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with internal controls. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring cash management, inventory reconciliation, expense auditing, and cost control procedures are meticulously followed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management & Reconciliation:

    Oversee the reconciliation of cash sales and checks from warehouses in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Ensure that all cash and check transactions are accurately posted in the internal systems and applications to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
  • Expense Audit & Reimbursement Management:

    Audit all expense reimbursements from the revolving fund, ensuring that every reimbursement is supported by official receipts. Any unusual expenses must be flagged and approved by management to maintain budget compliance and financial integrity.
  • Inventory & Stockpile Reconciliation:

    Review and reconcile stockpile reports for Mindanao and Visayas, ensuring inventory levels reported match the actual stock in the warehouses. Support inventory control processes by ensuring the integrity of the company's stock records.
  • Order Slip Approval (SAP System):

    Approve order slips within the SAP system, verifying that pricing entered by sales agents is accurate and does not result in company losses. Ensure all related costs and expenses are validated to protect the company's financial health.
  • Sales Quotation Approval:

    Serve as the primary approver for all sales quotations submitted by sales agents in provinces. Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and procedures, and verify that quotes are aligned with company standards.
  • Commission Calculation & Reporting:

    Prepare and compute the quarterly and annual commissions for sales agents, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Maintain accurate records of commission structures and ensure transparency in commission calculations.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

  • Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a supervisory or team leader role.

  • Experience in the distribution, manufacturing, or chemicals industry is highly desirable.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems).

  • Strong understanding of general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in cost accounting, inventory management, and expense control.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Leadership & Communication:

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, ensuring efficient and accurate work processes.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple departments and stakeholders.
