GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise daily accounting operations, which will include overall guidance to treasury, accounts receivable and accounts payable staffs;

  2. Responsibilities, include participation as a member, for overseeing the safeguarding of all financial reports, company assets and databases;

  3. Review and check all requisitions and expense reports like cash advances subject to liquidation and petty cash replenishments;

  4. Review the daily collection report (DCR) prepared by cashier if all cash receipts are covered by official and/or provisional receipts before forwarding to approving officers;

  5. Monitoring of PDCs and other collections for deposit if all are accounted and deposited on time;

  6. Liaising with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget;

  7. Provide accounting data and information to be used for the preparation of monthly variance analysis (Budget against Actual comparison) for the monthly performance review materials;

  8. Maintain proper and organized accounting records, monitoring reports and other documents for safekeeping and easy reference and retrieval;

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required

  2. At least three years of progressive accounting experience, involved in general accounting related activities, preferably in a senior accounting role

  3. Working knowledge of any ERP system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php28, Php38,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Davao City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:
