We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the preparation, checking and verification of disbursements to ensure the validity of all expenses, cash advances, and petty cash replenishments prior to accounts payable creation and approval. They will also play a key role in reconciliations, reporting and audit support.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee checking/verification/preparation of disbursements to ensure validity of all expenses, cash advances and petty cash fund replenishments prior to A/P creation and approval by signatories.
  • Validate inter-branch billings from other branches prior to SAP recording.
  • Reconcile with other branches for home office and branch account reconciliation monthly.
  • Create SAP entries for petty cash fund replenishments, accruals for suppliers billing and unbilled transactions received after cutoff.
  • Assist Business Development and Sales department in preparation of monthly perishable production report.
  • Prepare input and output VAT summary monthly.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for interim and annual audit.

Required Competencies:

  • A graduate of BS Accountancy or any accounting related course
  • At least 3 years experience in journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • At least 1 year leadership experience
  • Proficient in SAP Business One
  • Strong expertise in general ledger management
  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to confidentiality
